Managing Director, ChicagoMike joined Cain Brothers in 2004 and has 30 years of experience in the real estate industry with an emphasis in finance, development, and acquisitions. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mike was a key member of Ernst & Young's real estate capital markets division with a focus on health care real estate. He has evaluated over $1 billion of health care real estate assets and participated in the sale, purchase, and development of over 5 million square feet of medical real estate. Mike also served as a development and acquisitions executive for Commercial Net Lease, a publicly traded real estate investment trust and was a development executive with the Trammell Crow Company's national build to suit division where he was responsible for the site selection and development of over $100 million of projects.
Mike grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business at Miami University with a major in accounting and a Master in Business Administration with a major in finance at the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a licensed real estate broker and a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant.
