Senior Vice President, San FranciscoAlfonzo joined Cain Brothers' Real Estate Group in 2005. Alfonzo's experience includes monetizing non-core health care properties, selecting third-party development partners for non-acute facility expansions, valuation and ownership studies, and a $500 million recapitalization and development joint venture. Prior to joining the firm, Alfonzo was at LaSalle Investment Management, a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle group, where he was an Acquisitions Associate underwriting and closing targeted acquisitions and development projects for institutional clients and commingled funds. He has worked on over $1 billion of closed acquisitions, developments, and joint ventures for LaSalle, including the $300 million industrial portfolio purchase in Mexico.
Alfonzo grew up in Lima, Peru and became a U.S. citizen in October 2004. He earned a BS in Architecture at the University of Virginia and a Master in Real Estate Development from the Center for Real Estate at MIT.
