Dan Gofman is a Director in the Firm’s M&A Advisory practice. Mr. Gofman joined Cain Brothers in 2013 and brings 12 years of experience advising both public and private companies in a variety of merger and acquisition, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Mr. Gofman’s recent notable transactions include the recapitalization of DuPage Medical Group by Summit Partners, the sale of Invo HealthCare to Wicks/Jordan, Northwell’s RCM partnership with Optum360, the sale of Medulla (Chiro One) to The Vistria Group, the sale of Cardon Outreach to MEDNAX, and the sale of Stepping Stones to Five Arrows Capital Partners (Rothschild).
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mr. Gofman was an Investment Analyst at a healthcare long/short hedge fund, where he focused on market/company research, due diligence and investment analysis. Mr. Gofman’s prior experience also includes working in the healthcare investment banking groups at Barclays and Bear Stearns, where he executed a variety of healthcare transactions for public and private companies, including M&A, equity and debt capital raising.
Mr. Gofman graduated with honors distinction from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with an MBA and BS in Finance and Accounting.
