Ben Herbert is a member of the Firm’s M&A Advisory practice. Mr. Herbert joined Cain Brothers in 2012 and has over a decade of experience advising both public and private companies in a variety of merger and acquisition, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Mr. Herbert’s notable transactions include the sale of Verity Health System’s assets in bankruptcy, Tenet Healthcare’s sale of its Atlanta region to WellStar Health, Group Health Physicians’ affiliation with Kaiser Permanente, Meriter Health Services’ affiliation with UnityPoint Health, and John C. Lincoln Health Network’s affiliation with Scottsdale Healthcare to form HonorHealth.
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mr. Herbert was an Associate at Leerink Swann, where he worked on M&A and equity capital markets engagements for life sciences clients. Mr. Herbert began his investment banking career at Morgan Keegan in that firm’s Healthcare Group, which was formerly known as Shattuck Hammond Partners.
Mr. Herbert earned a BA in Economics from Yale University.
