Liza Hing is a Director in the Firm’s Healthcare Public Finance group. Ms. Hing joined Cain Brothers in 2008 and has executed transactions totaling over $1 billion primarily for not-for-profit post-acute care providers in a variety of capital raising and strategic advisory situations. Ms. Hing’s notable transaction experience includes the sales of various senior living facilities for Upbring (formerly Lutheran Social Services of the South), a portfolio of FHA-insured refinancings for Front Porch Communities and Services; campus expansion financing for Westminster Manor; refinancing for the Buck Institute for Research on Aging; a bond issue for Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District; and Cal-Mortgage insured bond issues for various borrowers.
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Ms. Hing was at UBS in that firm’s Municipal Securities Group, where she focused on supporting capital markets transactions for clients in the healthcare sector. Before her career in finance, Ms. Hing served as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department.
Ms. Hing earned an AB in Economics from Harvard College and a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
