Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets (“Cain Brothers”) served as exclusive financial advisor to Caregiver Inc. (“Caregiver” or “the Company”), a portfolio company of Council Capital and DW Healthcare Partners, in its recapitalization by WindRose Health Investors, LLC (“WindRose”).
Caregiver is a leading provider of community-based services and supports to more than three thousand individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (“IDD”) across Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio. Formed in 2015, through the combination of two of the leading providers of IDD services in Texas, Caregiver is guided by its mission to enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead their unique lives with dignity, independence, and inclusion.
Founded in 2000, Council Capital is a healthcare-focused private equity firm based in Nashville, Tennessee. Council Capital invests in lower middle market healthcare companies where it can drive growth by applying its Council Model, drawing upon the resources and experience of its CEO Council.
Founded in 2002, DW Healthcare Partners is a Toronto-based private equity firm focused on the healthcare industry. The firm manages over $1.4 billion in committed capital and is led by an executive team with 120+ years of combined industry experience.

The firm manages over $1.2 billion of capital and is focused exclusively on investing in healthcare services businesses.
