Steward Home Care and Hospice has been acquired by AccentCare, Inc.

Steward Home Care and Hospice (“the Company”), a leading regional home care and hospice provider in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has been acquired by AccentCare, Inc., a nationwide leader in post-acute healthcare. The transaction closed on December 31, 2018.
Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets (“Cain Brothers”) served as exclusive financial advisor to Steward Health Care (“Steward’), portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, in the sale of its Home Care and Hospice subsidiary to AccentCare., Inc.
Steward Health Care is the nation’s largest, private, for-profit, physician-led health care network. Headquartered in Dallas, TX, Steward operates 36 hospitals in the United States and the country of Malta. The Steward network includes multiple urgent care centers and skilled nursing facilities, substantial behavioral health services, over 7,900 beds under management, and approximately 2.2 million full risk covered lives through the company’s managed care and health insurance services. Steward Home Care and Hospice operated as a subsidiary of Steward Health Care and serves over 150 communities across six counties in Massachusetts and 16 communities across two counties in New Hampshire.
